Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe when you shop with SabjiWalla.
📋 What We Collect
- Name, phone number, and email address — collected when you place an order, register an account, or subscribe.
- Delivery address — used solely to deliver your order to the right place.
- Order history — retained to support your account, process returns, and improve our service.
- Device and browser information — basic analytics to help us optimise the website experience (no personal identifiers).
✅ We do NOT collect payment card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials. All payments are handled securely by Razorpay.
🎯 How We Use Your Data
- To process and deliver your orders on time.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and OTP verifications via email or WhatsApp.
- To manage your subscription, track delivery credits, and apply applicable discounts.
- To send occasional service updates (new vegetables, offers, slot changes) — you can opt out any time.
- To resolve disputes, refund requests, and customer support queries.
🚫 We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
💳 Payment Security
- All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
- We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or net banking credentials on our servers at any point.
- Payment confirmations and receipts are sent directly by Razorpay to your registered email.
- COD (Cash on Delivery) orders — no payment data is collected online at all.
🔐 OTP & Account Security
- We use email OTP for login and subscriber verification — a 6-digit code valid for 10 minutes.
- OTPs are single-use and automatically invalidated after use or expiry.
- We recommend using an email address that only you can access for your SabjiWalla account.
- If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at 8796700551.
🗂️ Data Retention & Deletion
- Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required for legal and operational purposes.
- Order records are retained for a minimum of 2 years for accounting and compliance purposes.
- You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing orders@sabjiwalla.co.in. We will process it within 14 business days.
- Deletion requests for data tied to pending orders or active subscriptions will be processed after fulfilment.
🤝 Third-Party Services
- Razorpay — payment processing. Their privacy policy →
- OneSignal — push notifications for order alerts (optional, browser-based).
- WhatsApp / Email — used for order communication via your registered contact details only.
None of these partners receive your data for their own marketing or profiling purposes.
